The Group, Inc. has joined Be Local Northern Colorado (www.belocalnc.org), an initiative to unite locally owned businesses to create a sustainable and prosperous community.

According to the Andersonville Study of Retail Economics in 2004, if you spend $100 at a local independent business, $32 leaves the local economy and $68 stays in the local economy.  If you spend $100 at a non-independent business, $57 leaves the local economy and $43 stays in the local economy.

In addition to the obvious economic benefits of doing business with locally owned companies, equally important is the sense of community it fosters and the positive impact it has on our environment.
